Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting VII on 09/25/2015. Cloudy yellow color with a thin white head that evaporates steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of yeast, fruit and spices. Full-bodied with flavors of peppery yeast, bananas, grainy malt and spice. The finish is sweet with a fruit and malt aftertaste Above average overall.

On tap @ Avery Strong Ale Fest 2015. Bright, cloudy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Mango, tropical fruit, wheat, and candy in the nose. Boozy flavor. Bubblegum, banana, tangerine flavors. Goopy sweetness and high boost. Not my favorite.

At the brewery - bloody hell, why did I even bother to try this? - it smells.and tastes like a tripel infused with herbs then blended with vodka - there is a lightly pleasant muskiness to the aroma, and there is some interest tropical character in the flavor - other thwn that, heavily sweet, highly alcoholic, and difficult to stomach - seems like one of those beers they made to see if they could/should - they shouldn’t have.
