On tap at Trail's End Taproom. Pours a nice, ruby-brown color, with a small, bubbly, beige head. The aroma is strong bread dough, butterscotch, ripe bananas, and some bark and earth. Sweet and yeasty, with a very light bitterness. Medium body, with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel. This is a lovely, malt-forward amber.

On tap @ Platt Park brewery. Pours a dark reddish orange appearance with a light brown head. Aroma has biscuit, toffee, earth, caramel, and light chocolate. Some butterscotch and brown sugar in the mouth. Clean flavor. Moderately sweet. Low bitterness. Fine.

Tap at the brewery - pretty bland, even for an amber - limp, lifeless texture - some blunt, bland, toasty maltiness, light fruity acidity, a touch of bitterness -dry, toasty finish - nothing really happening - kind of husky and unclean - meh.
