On tap at the Brewpub in SF. Black with a small head. Roasted with some coffee and light ash. Kind of easy to drink. An ok one.

Draught. Brownish black with a small head. Aroma is vanilla malt. Flavour is toasted malt, vanilla ash, long dry roast malt finish.

On tap @ the brewery during San Francisco 7/7/14 beer tour. Pours a reddish brown appearance with a lasting brown head. Chocolate, light vanilla, roasty, earthy aroma. Kind of thin bodied but the flavor is nice. Pretty dry, low bitterness. Earthy, lightly roasty with some chocolate. A touch of pine. Not bad.

4 oz draft part of a flight at 21st Amendment’s brewpub. Black with brown hues and light tan head. Aromas of roast, coffee, dark chocolate. Tastes of dark chocolate, coffee, roast, light licorice. Medium body with a dry finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good.
