On tap @ brewery. Hazy dark reddish orange appearance with a khaki head. Cherry and strawberry fruitiness in the nose. Some caramel and cracker as well. Pretty high carbonation. Flavor is a bit nutty. Quite fruity. Fairly strong. OK.

Dark purplish, nearly black - soapy lace - nose is very toasty, with a lot of dark bread notes, plum, brown sugar - rich maltiness in the flavor, which is sweet up front, but finishes fairly dry, toasty, spicy - flavors of pumpernickel, dark rye, plum - nice winter warmer.
