On tap @ brewery. Burnt orange appearance with an off white grad. Fairly sweet, caramel, pear / apple fruity aroma. Pretty high carbonation. Lot of pear and toffee in the flavor. Actually, fairly bitter. OK.

Hazy dark ruby - medium dry and toasty, but with plenty of appropriate malt richness for the style - moderate bitterness - dusty, earthy yeast ,character - moderatelt estery - light acidity/tartness balances out the strong malt character - earthy, almkst funky character in the finish - light spice and cherry skins in the finish - rock solid dubbel.
