Just a small twist on a classic brown ale, we decided to mix in a little local flavour by adding some local maple syrup to create a well balance brown ale.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of BoostIPA. Thanks brah! Wael rake. Pours a bit hazy, reddish brown appearance with a brown head. There’s a lot of cocoa powder and coffee notes in the aroma. Some nutty and toasted malt notes as well. There is maybe a faint hint of maple but it’s certainly not very strong. Kind of thin bodied. Flavor is fairly sweet (pecans, caramel, toffee, chocolate), moderately bitter (earth), and has some roast / coffee flavors. Finishes a light to moderately bitter. Could use a bit more body but not an overall bad release.
