25/8/2022. Cask at the 43rd Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours slightly hazy very dark brown with a small bubbly off-white to beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, berries, dark chocolate, slight ashy and meaty notes. Moderate sweetness, light roasted bitterness, touch of tart. Moderate body, slightly watery, very soft carbonation. Didn't appear to be in best shape.

Cask at the Loughborough beer festival 2022. Deep malty brown colour with a thin off white head. Roasted malty. Slight coffee. And hints of berry. Light bitter.
