Tap at Rackhouse - black pour with.a sudsy tan head - fair creamy in the mouth - quite sweet for the style, with notes of milk chocolate at first - some moderate roast and acidity later, followed by minty hops - oily finish, with a bit a vegetal character poking through - some off fusel flavors in the finish, too - has potential, but I am not digging it - and since they no longer sell taster pours here because it was "too much of a pain," I am now stuck with a full pint - meh.

Tap @ Rackhouse. Pours a dark brown appearance with a small bubbly brown head. Very roasty malty, charred, chocolate, very piney, bitter herbal hoppy aroma. Milk chocolate, burnt roasty malty, a bit floral, spicy hoppy flavor. A touch thin. Pretty solid brew.
