Pour is a black with a large mocha tan head. Aroma is bitter bakers chocolate and a minor roast. Flavor is sweet chocolate milk syrup with some bitterness and roasted malt. The aroma did not let on that this was going to be as sweet as it was. Not a spot on example of the style but it was flavorful and the alcohol was hidden well.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is licorice, cocoa, roast. Slick body, cocoa, licorice, cracker malt, light dry finish, good.

Tap @ Urban Chestnut. Pours a black appearance with a dark brown head. Anise, roasty, candy sugar, dark fruity, herbal aroma. Quite sweet, black licorice, chocolate, sugary flavor.
