Taster at Colorado Plus. Pours black, with a big, frothy, beige head. The aroma is harsh coffee, chicory, lots of earth, and pine sap. Harshly bitter. Medium to heavy body, with a sharp, acrid mouthfeel. This is not a very pleasant stout.

Tap @ Wild Woods Brewery. Pours a black appearance with a tan head. Fairly roasty, black coffee, slightly burnt, roasty malty aroma. Light chocolate, roasty, a touch ashy, somewhat sweet chocolate flavor. Ok.
