GABF week 2012. On tap at the brewery. Pours with a clear, straw yellow hued body with a small white head. Very very smokey aroma, strong, woody, leathery, ham, honey and bready. Flavors are very smokey with almost a mineral character, ham, bready, malty, and maple. Fuller carbonation, malty sweet flavors but a dry finish.

Tap @ Fort Collins Brewery. Pours a fairly clear golden appearance with a white head. Burnt smoky, charcoal grill, a bit meaty, light caramel aroma. Burnt woody, chewy char, light caramel flavor. Not bad but not very inspiring either.
