2020 rerate (October 9 2020)
Tap at Valhalla Prague. Golden-amber body, white head. Buttery, malty and lightly herbal. Huh... Soft, buttery, smooth, lightly fruity and herbal taste going lightly bitter. Fairly lean, fairly drinkable, but... not the best beer around. Went down I guess. Far down.
2008 rate:
Beer no.3 at the blind tasting at Modry Abbe unless I’m not mistaken. Poured a lovely amber colour with a big chalky thick head that went away at a medium pace. Dusty hoppy nose, some grain and funkiness. Very nice. A pleasant hop bitterness, some yoghurty notes, grain and eggs. A pleasant underlying sweetness. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. Liked it more than the notes would indicate. Possibly the best beer so far. 8/7/8/6/8

Muffig hopfiger Antrunk, etwas säuerlich werdend, etwas malzig. Etwas wässrig, bitter, weiter wässriger werdend. Nun erscheint ein leicht röstiger Ton mit einer künstlich wirkenden Fruchtigkeit. Etwas süß, komisch. Nicht unbedingt mein Fall.. Test vom 17.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,6,5,7,7,6 - 6,35

Bottle (now called "Skalak 11°"): Golden coloured, mid-sized, white lacing, stable head, visible carbonation; sweet-malty nose with a reduced, but distinctive aromatic hoppiness; light bodied, slightly sweetish (malty) bitter flavour, soft MF; short bitter finish. A basic, but decent Bohemian Pils.................
