Jack Hammer has been single handedly ripping it up for quite some time. Now this IPA, has spawned four hammer head off-springs. Rye Hammer is the fourth of our super-charged hyped up hybrids.

A grapefruit harvest of citrus melts away to sticky roasted caramel and rye warmth, all resting on a malted biscuit backbone. Then ‘The Hammerhead’s trademark bitter finish reasserts its authority.

Pours unclear blonde, small white head; Smell is intense, pine hops. Taste is full, strong bitterness, rye indeed, gets a bit in the way of the hops though. not bad, not at all, but perhaps not totally in balance.

Hazy golden color with a fine lasting white head. Solid lacing. Aaahhhh what a lovely aroma. Good intensity with a fine hop profile. Medium + body and a fine carbonation level. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Long lasting flavor with rye, grapefruit hops, pine and tropical fruits. Lovely stuff.
