12 ounce bottle from the brewery. 8/29/16. Hazy rust, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of caramel, tart fruits and a bit of toastiness. The taste is bitter hops and toasted malts. Thin, dry. Not bad.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-amber color with a lots of minuscule floaters and a medium sized creamy orange-tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was malty caramel, dark fruits and bread. The flavor was sweet and malty bread, caramel and faint vague fruits. Medium length sweet malty bread and fruit finish. Medium body and smooth. Pleasant.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilburs Foco a while back. Clear, burnt orange appearance with a light brown head. Mild diacetyl, toasty, mild caramel malty, somewhat piney/herbal hoppy aroma. Yikes- notes of diacetyl and DMS - cooked veggies, butter- along with toasted malts and earthy, slightly piney hoppy flavor. Not good at all.

On tap at Mundelin beer fest. Pours a clear deep amber with a yellowish brown head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains with a hint of light grains. Flavor is sweet grains with backing sweet bread with not too much hoppiness.
