Plain Sight Apricot Saison

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very funky, with tons of barnyard funk, subdued apricots, and musty earthiness -- that's a lot of brett. Flavour is huge on the brett, with tons of barnyard funk, light-to-moderate acidity, a fair bit of apricot, and dry wheatiness on the base. Bright, refreshing and very funky, though not the most complex. Good stuff.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, peachy, some toffeeish and mild nectary tones. Flavour is toffee, some spruce, mild nectary and some slight tartish wooden tones too. Very refreshing and also slight spiciness in the finish.

Lys gul klar med hvitt skum. Lukter aprikos, vanilje og hvitvin. Fruktig, sursyrlig. Sur lys stenfrukt, lime og trevirke. Middels lang.

ABV: 5.4%. Cloudy - hazy medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, saison yeast, apricot, stone fruit, light sour. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light light moderate acidic with a average duration, wheat, fruity yeast, apricot, stone fruit, saison yeast, light sulfur, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220415]

--Canned, from Glasbanken. -- Tart nose with evident apricots. Tart with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Hay, brett, lemon and apricots. Low bitterness. Elegant and likeable.
