Bottle. Color: Hazy yellow golden, very thin white head. Aroma: Peach, mango, malty. Taste: Exotic fruit, mango, ananas, passion-fruit, peach, soap, flowers. Malt. Moderate sweet. Rather unpleasant, soapy finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Definitely not my kind of beer.

Bottle @ home. Clear pale golden color, full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma initially is sweetish hoppy with a touch of fruitpeel. After a while it becomes very unpleasant and artificial. Flavor directly has that weird artificial note. Also it tastes yeasty, fruitpeel again, a bit tannin-tart-dry-ish. Average to decent body, a bit sharp carbonation. Bleh don't like it at all. Artificial and unpleasant. [3-3-3-2-6=1.7] -- Edit: because I was working and quite busy I didn't allow myself to get up and throw the beer away. And amazingly it became nicer again after 20 minutes or so. The artificial flavors are now almost fully gone again and what's left is actually an ok beer. I'm still not a fan but it's not a 1.7 anymore.

23 April 2018. At Spontane Goesting, Itterbeek. Shared with Anke.
Pours clear golden with a big, frothy, white head; little lacing. Intense fruit aroma of citrus, mandarin, passionfruit, carambola, perfumed soap, flowers, lychee, honey, bready malt, some grass. It tastes medium fruity sweet, hints of passionfruit & citrus, and light to medium hoppy bitter, a tad bready. Dry, not too long, a bit bitter, hoppy finish, persistent sweetish fruitiness. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Unusual take on the dusty 'Belgian Ale' style.

New ‘female’ member of Géants’ Goliath series, bottle from Willems. Membranously lacing, medium thick, off-white, stable, creamy head over a hazy golden beer with warmer peachy hue. Aroma of green apple, soap, freshly cut grass, light toast, cooked turnip, rhubarb jam, unripe peach, asparagus, honey, baking soda, margarine. ‘Green’ fruity onset, unripe banana, green apple, pear, white sugary sweet with a light sourish touch, medium carbonated. Soapy mouthfeel, rather plaster-like even, baking soda poured over white bread, bit buttery to a certain extent; grassy hop note in the finish but remaining mellow, though some superficially spicy bitterness sticks in the very end – yet the soapiness, green apple (acetaldehyde I guess) and white sugar sweetness remain the last impressions. Rather low profile Belgian blonde quencher with some weird soap- and baking soda-like aspects to it which do not do it any good. Restrained and forgettable, unsuspicious within an already rather superficial series of standard Belgian ales.

Rarther high carbo. Medium body. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Madame Goliath on 12 Jul 2016 at 10:53 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5. Original review text: Pours clear blonde, rather small white head. Smell is rather yeasty, but weak. Taste is weak as well. mild grainy notes, somewhat dry, very yeasty. Not intense, high carbo. Plain, boring, and even below avg quality ( by far, so it seems to me ) . Not my kind of woman ...

21/XI/17 - 33cl bottle @ Horeca Expo (Ghent) - BB: n/a (2017-1903) Thanks to the brewers for today's samples and my Ghent beer posse for sharing the glasses and keeping my liver sane. :p

Clear pale blond beer, big creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, lychee, passion fruit, bit of tropical fruit flavoured bubble gum. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very fruity, nice bitterness, tropical fruits, malty touch. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, grains, bit hoppy, little metallic, some lychee. Promising experiment with some new world hops!
