Tap at Dexters. Opaque brown-black with a big beige head. Rich and creamy, the oak really works well with pungent lactic tones. Thick chocolate milkshake tones. Not much hop presence, the malts really shine. Sweet brown chocolate cacao nib aroma. Some rich molasses, bourbon vanilla, almost a woody edge. Unique, drinkable, well executed.

Tap @ Tap n Handle Foco. Black appearance with a dark brown head. Roasty, woody, dark chocolate malty aroma. Very nice and delicious, big cocoa, fairly toasty/woody, vanilla, light caramel flavor. Kick ass.

Dark opaque brown color, small tiny brown head. Sweet kandi sugar, hints of vanilla, light toasted notes. Full-bodied. Oily palate. Some vanilla, cocoa, light toasted notes. Crisp finish, lower carbonation could do good for this.

Draft at Brewvival 2012. Pours a clear dark reddish amber with a medium frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, coffee. The taste is caramel, roasted malts, berries, nuts, anise, herbal notes and vanilla. Medium bodied. Nice.
