Tap at Funkwerks - hazy gold - soapy lace - nose has a lot of dirty phenols kicking around, but also some crackery malt and moderate apricot notes, so it’s a mixed bag - medium body, soft carbonation - flavor is surprisingly sweet, but with a light acidity through the middle - a fair amount of apricot flavor - dusty yeast - quite a hefty dose of dirty, off-putting phenols (plastic/band aid) - moderate sulphur in the finish, as well as an abrasive spiciness - messy.

Tap @ Funkwerks. Per usual for Funkwerks, the appearance is absolutely gorgeous, cloudy, light golden orange appearance with a nice, white head with moderate retention. The nose is very citrusy (lemon, tangerine, apricot, grapefruit) that has a spicy/bready yeasty element with a touch of bitterness. A bit tart, lemon/tangerine citrusy, rich pils malty, somewhat spicy, belgian yeasty flavor. Sort of a floral, citrusy aftertaste. The aroma and appearance are spectacular, but the flavor isn’t quite as nice.
