GABF week 2012. Pours with a hazed golden hued body with a lasting white head and good retention. HUGE herbal and floral tea aromas, tons of green tea, light phenols but mostly tea. Flavors are hugely herbal, grainy, grassy, floral, tea, citrus, autumn leaves, baked bread, but mostly tea. Lightly citrusy with a tangy finish. Lively carbonation and dry.

Tap @ Funkwerks. Hazy yellow/gold appearance with a cream/tan head. Moderately spicy, grassy, big green tea, light yeasty, a touch citrusy aroma. Green tea is integrated impeccably into the flavor with just an absolutely delicious, sweet green tea, grassy, lemon citrusy, somewhat spicy flavor. This mofo completely blew me away. I’ve never had a beer that was actually complemented by green tea. Fucking brilliant. Fuck yeah (4.3). Update: I’ve had this on multiple occasions now and each time I’ve been a bit more disappointed than the previous occasion. Not as much grassy, sweet tea notes as the first time I tried this.

Tap @ Funkwerks Taproom. A stop on grand tour of Fort Collins breweries and bars with Aaron and Armin, Thanks !! Pours hazy yellow with a creamy staying white head. Aroma of yeast, grapefruit, spicy, honey, green tea. Taste is green tea, yeast, spices, grapefruit or lemon, honey. Medium body, lively carbonation. Very much like cold green tea with carbonation. Allthough this sounds gross, the beer is lovely. 250212
