Inspired by the malty and hoppy beers of the Great Northwest, Green Man Ale is a rich and layered beer that lies somewhere between an IPA and a Red Ale—not exactly radical, but not quite the conformist, Green Man Ale just is. An Eclectic blend of malts and plenty of northwest hops have come together, not worrying about fitting in, and simply being content in walking their own path of malty hoppiness.

On tap at GABF 16’. Pours a hazy copper gold with medium frothy off white head. The aroma is bready malt, rye, pine. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, bitter finish, good.

Tap at the brewery - medium amber pour - strongly resinous aroma - quite dank in the nose - medium dry, with spicy and grassy/peppery hops - quite floral - finish is dry and peppery - very nice IPA.

Tap @ brewery. Pretty hazy, darkish orange appearance with a cream colored head that has good lacing and retention. Really a nice piney, resiny, moderately hoppy, caramel malty aroma. Toasty caramel malty, peanut shell, moderately resiny, piney hoppy, a bit roasty flavor. Liked the aroma a little better than the flavor but pretty solid.
