Tap @ downtown location. Black appearance with a dark brown head. Very nice Stranahans aroma- whiskey, oak, rich vanilla- with notes of roasted chocolate malts but the nose is mostly Stranahans. Actually super smooth, flavorful beer. Dark chocolate, toffee, toasted caramel, oak, lots of vanilla, and whiskey in the flavor. I guess the body is a bit flabby and a touch watery but it’s an otherwise outstanding beer. Probably the best I’ve ever had here.
