Bottle in Vail with Jetson. Somewhat hazy, red orange appearance with a white head. Spicy, zesty, belgian yeasty, peppery, citrusy, banana, clove aroma. Toasty, wheat malty, grainy, bready, citrusy, banana, clove, citrusy flavor. Grainy, spicy aftertaste.

Hazy orange pour - not very saison-like, this - kind of like a vaguely Belgian weizenbock in some ways - nose is highly phenolic, with strong notes of clove, banana, pepper - also some overripe apple sweetness and vanilla - a lot going on in the nose, but all a bit messy - tangy up front, with a little bit of toasted grain huskiness - kind of slick in the mouth - notes of overripe apple - peppery phenolics amplified by slight alcohol presence - quite bit of banana and clove - heavy finish of yeast/bread, lingering apple and strong spice - much like the nose, the flavor has a lot going on, but it is not well-integrated and the phenols get a tad abrasive in the finish - okay, but messy.
