Smokey Denver Male Ale

Tap @ Denver Beer Co. Cloudy deep brown appearance with a cream colored head. Roasty chocolate malty, moderately smoky/ashy aroma. Pretty good smoky/ashy, dark chocolate, roasty malty, light caramel flavor. This went down very smoothly and I was out before I knew it.

Dark brown, nearly black pour - off white head - aroma is dry and earthy, with note of cocoa, moderate woodsmoke/campfire, roasted nuts, moderate bitterness - smooth, medium body - quite dry, with a lot of bittersweet chocolate notes, moderate smoke, a bit of caramelized sugars on the tail end - deep woody flavor on the finish - mild acidity - you gotta like smoke, but I do, so I think this beer is pretty nice - probably the best beer I’ve ever had here.
