Tap @ Wynkoop, Denver. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, dark fruit. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, wood, caramel, vanilla, plums. Full body, low carbonation, alcohol well hidden. Very nice. 0303012

Wynkoop Parade of Darks 2011. Black appearance with a small brown head. Fairly roasty, dark chocolate malty, woody (not sure if it was even barrel aged), light vanilla aroma. The flavor is pretty sure due to its higher alcohol content but it is fairly smooth with flavors of dark chocolate, deep roastiness, vanilla, and light caramel.
