Tap @ brewery. Hazy, burnt orange appearance with a creamy, off white head. Slightly spicy hoppy, light honey, toasted caramel malty flavor. Tangy, honey, toffee, spicy, belgian yeasty flavor. Kind of weird.

Tap at the brewery - apparently a dark belgian brewed with honey - the honey is apparent, and provides a clean sweetness to offset the relatively dry middle and mild tartness and phenols of the yeast (clove, mostly) - quite a bit of dark fruit to compliment the honey sweetness (raisin, date, a bit of dried cherries) - drier notes of chocolate on the back end, but the honey comes back to add a lingering sweetness and earthy quality through the finish - quite good.
