Tap @ Brewery Vivant. Dark brown appearance with a tan head. Toasty, nutty, caramel malty, sweet aroma. Quite sweet, nutty, toffee, caramel malty flavor.

On tap at the brewpub. Deep translucent garnet-red brown body, puffy dissipating beige head. Fruity nose with caramel, brown sugar, and berries. The body is drier than anticipated by the aroma, with the balance tipped in favor of chalky cocoa and roast that are complemented by sweet berries and soapy hops.
