On tap at the brewery. Pours with a hazed copper body and a white head. Aromas are fruity, spicy, herbal, hoppy, beautiful yeast character, citrusy and dank. Flavors are citrusy, hoppy and bitter. Lively bubbles, dry, light caramel (odd for a Funkwerks beer), nice phenol. Great stuff.

Tap @ brewery. Gorgeous, glowing orange appearance with a cream colored head. Peppery, citrusy aroma from their house yeast, slightly floral hoppy nose. Mild floral, a touch piney hoppy, peppery, belgian yeasty, lemon-tangerine citrusy flavor. The saison yeast really makes this more like a belgian ale than a pale ale and as usual from these guys, it’s pretty tasty.

Tap at Funkwerks - hazy copper beer - nose is citrusy American hops and light yeast phenols - flavor is a bit more promising - a lot of Biscuity malt character and bright American hops that play well off of the citrus quality imparted by the yeast - tangy finish, with some lingering toasted grains - I like it.
