Toasted Lager was originally named for the “toasted” characteristic of our original direct-fire brick kettle. Our World Beer Cup gold medal winning flagship brew is brewed with a blend of six specialty malts for a flavor as rich and unique as the town it’s from. Toasted Lager’s balanced flavor of malt and hops makes for easy drinking and our special proprietary lager yeast produces an exceptional, long-lasting smooth finish.

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark golden beer with a medium sized off-white head. Fruity, caramel-ish aroma of the rather uninteresting kind. Flawless though, and probably easy to like for "everyone". Caramel malts in the back, generic fruityness and a suitable bitterness up front in the flavor. Medium body and a nice carbonation level. Medium length finish with nothing standing out. Rather boring this one, good thing I don’t have to re-visit it. 150624

Bottle by way of trade with Leighton. Cheers. Clear, copper colour. Thin, lasting, clingy, white head. Looks good. Yep, it’s toasty. Grainy, fruity, toffee malts. Beyond that, not a lot. Taste is sweet, first off, turning fruity dry. Get some saccharine with this. Moderate body. Finishes short, grainy dry.
