Crystal clear coloured golden coloured body, with no head at all of course. Aroma of deep canella, light allspice, a bunch of pumpkin pie spice, hints of clove with a zillion apples and pure caster sugar - very sweet and appley throughout in the nose and very strong, especially for a cider. Light-bodied; Strong canella, allspice, coriander seed and very pungent spices with a bunch of pure caster sugar and very sweet notes right behind, but apples and even some slightly more mealy pears are noticeable along with a dry yeast and breadiness that is noticeable towards the very end. Aftertaste is deep, super robust, quite sweet with some lightly fried dough notes that are somehow noticeable, but the spices remain key, along with a lot of pungent unfinished sugar notes that make this one sweet, very robust and very enjoyable, especially for a cider. Overall, a very good example of how to make a cider right - bunches of spices, good apples, some dry notes and a touch of fresh coriander seed and yeast towards the very end that just add to the complexity. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Springfield, Virginia on 20-October-2019 for US$3,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 26-May-2020 when there probably won't be any more chilly days for the rest of the season. While I went to school in Cider Donut Country and married someone from that area, I'm a huge fan of the treat in fall, but somehow perhaps a bigger fan of this cider!

Sampled on draft this cider poured a dark golden color with a large foamy yellow-white head. The aroma was spiced cider and donut. The flavor was spiced cider, donut and artificial sugar. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Pounder: Jolly rancher apple, strong clove, and nutmeg aroma. Clear amber. Clove and apple, nutmeg. Medium body, easy carbonation.More like egg nog than a donut given the spicing. Real good.

I found this pleasant surprise on tap at patrick's. It was much better than expected. This was a clear pale brew with a sweet candy nose, no real smell of cider in there. More like pleasant fruit perfume. First impression in the mouth is a soda, but not quite as rude as an artificial fruit flavored malt drink, much more civilized, much more friendly. Yes, hides the palate ills of fully fermented apple juice without obviousness. Good co2 too! Yes, mostly a sweeter soda pop bubbly feel without tummy herten shuggah. Can barely taste the alky, if you try. Decent finish, not bad! Excellent overall brew tasting experience. You gottah stop at patrick's, nice eye candy.....and cider!

Very different. I like it, but I couldn’t drink a lot of it.
