2019 Edition. Pours black with a small beige head. Aromas & tastes of raspberry, cherry, almonds, molasses, alcohol & roast malt. Medium to full body. Slightly sharp bitter finish. Outstanding

@ la Capsule, Arras. Pitch black, brown foam. Nose of roasted malts, soy sauce, chocolate, raspberries. Sweet and fruity with enough roastiness.

deep dark brown colour, medium sized dense brown head; aroma and taste of lyophilized raspberry, dark chocolate, vanilla, brandy (mainly in the taste), some strawberry, and minimal anise notes; just simply amazing!

Bottle picked up in Paris has this Wednesday 30th November sat in Frank at Akademiastrasse, München after an afternoon walking around München with Isobel and Loz. Pours black as yer at with a light beige head. Initially in the mouth it's bonfire toffee, chocolate and fudge but the raspberry comes through and peps things up somwhat. Aroma is mostly chocolate, but a little winter spice shows, mostly hints of cinnamon. Smooth mouthfeel, nice beer, btw great label artwork.

11/11/2022. Bottle shared in Noumea with J-B and F-X. Pours close to black with a small creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, toffee, raspberry, vanilla, light roasted malt, brown sugar, brandy, baked apple. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness. Full body, smooth, very soft carbonation. Sweet chocolate and light tart raspberry finish. Very nice.

Bottle at James's. Pours black, nose is huge raspberry, chocolate, toffee, roasted, taste is similar, sweet, tart, little boozy.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - deep and opaque brown to black. Thin tan head. Nose - raspberry definitely dominates the chocolate notes. Taste - lovely luscious chocolate and raspberry. Palate - full bodied and rich texture. Boozy sweet finish. Overall - lovely stuff.

Black color with low beige head. Aroma: rich in raspberries, dark chocolate. Taste: chocolate, loads of raspberries, bit of ABV noticable. Full body, low to moderate carbonation. Good as a dessert.
