Bottle, 75cl corked. A small, dense, light beige head forms over an unclear dark amber colored beer. There’s lots of bourbon on the nose, with dried fruits, toffee and alcohol, some dark chocolate. Coconut and vanilla. Dark chocolate, roasted malts and toffee and some woody hints in the flavor. Full body and a soft carbonation. Long finish with a good bourbon impact. Still, a bit on the bourbon side for me. Well, nice anyway. 151110

Pretty nice stuff. Decently large barrel presence here but doesn’t come off badly necessarily. Pours dark amber with OK head. Consistency thick and slightly syrupy. A good beer but not something I’d drink a lot. Sweety finish with some booze. Tap at Churchkey.

Flaska från SB. Lagrad något år. Smak och doft av trä, whiskey, råg, sirap, brunt socker, karamell, vanilj med toner av bourbon. Rund och len, jämna och fina smaker i bra balans. Lagom sötma, lätt beska och kolsyra. Mycket gott!

[ As Boulevard Smokestack Series - Rye-on-Rye ].Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, rye, sweet malt, light yeasty, moderate alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, rye, sweet malt - yeast, alcohol - whisky - bourbon. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20150724]

Flska från SB som är något år gammal. Fin doft av rågwhiskey ganska nära bourbon, vanilj, fat och toffee. Mjuk och len, väldigt tydlig whiskeysmak utan stickig alkohol, vanilj, lätt pepprig. Inte jättekomplex. Fatlagringen tar över smakbilden väldigt mycket vilket jag i princip inte gillar men här tycker jag det funkar riktigt bra.

Bottled@PBF X. Amber colour with a mediumsized beige longlasting head. Aroma is vanilla, wood, some bourbon as well as quite much rye bready notes to it. Flavour is bourbon, vanilla, some wood as well as mild alcohol and some toffeeish notes. Beautifully balanced.
