22oz bottle-pours a tan head and dark copper color. Aroma is medium malt-roasty/molasses, some earthy, dark fruit-raisin. Taste is medium malt-bready/roasty/molasses, secondary earthy hops bite.

On tap at RealTail Festival at Freetail. Pours a dark amber with a medium frothy beige head that lasts awhile. The aroma is a smokey malt with light fruit. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet grape and white wine flavor and a nice smooth finish. Hides the alcohol well making it easy to drink. My favorite at the festival, an impressive old ale from Freetail.
