Imperial Oatmeal Porter aged on Oak Chips
On Black Friday 2008, Freetail Brewing Company opened its doors to the public for the firs time literally ten minutes after we got the draught system operating & without any of our brew on tap. One email was so bold as to call our opening the stupidest thing that person had ever been a part of and predict we’d be out of business within a month. Three years later, we’re still around making killer beers and occasionally doing things that some may call "the stupidest thing ever." To commemorate, we present you Three, a bold Imperial Oatmeal Porter. This ale is for all our wonderful fans who have stuck by us the whole way and to my amazing staff who make it all happen. Here’s to many more Anniversary Ales to come! - Scott

Bottle shared at RBWG 2012. Pours a dark brown with medium tan head. The aroma is roasted malt and raisin. Medium mouthfeel with a roast flavor and vanilla. Easy to drink a good Porter from Freetail.

On tap at the brewpub during RBWG 2012. Black with a small tan head and some lacing. Roasted malts, chocolate, grainy and coffee. A nice solid porter.
