Poured into my New Belgium snifter glass it delivers a dark, almost black body and a skim of tan foam. An inviting nose, I detect dark fruit, dark chocolate and malt. The taste is very full as an imperial stout should deliver. It has a coffee intro, more of the chocolate, currant, a great ending bitterness with a touch of the alcohol slipping in.
