Bright clear rich gold beer, tine pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, touch of cream. Hops are mild to medium bitter citrus, orange and a little tangerine. Mild hop spice and floral pine. Light finish. Nicely done, light but well flavoured.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. This one was a slow gusher. Pours perfectly clear gold, highly effervescent, with a sturdy, creamy white head. There’s a good base layer of dry, pale malts in the nose, then above that some pithy citrus fruits, crispy grains and hay. Light-medium sweet flavor with dry bready sweetness, a bit of melon, grapefruit, orange rind, more pith, hay, pine needles. Light to medium bodied with average-plus carbonation. Pretty well balanced at the conclusion with further dry pale malts, dry and pithy citrus, some mild grain husk bitterness, hints of dry pine. Not a bad effort.

Keg at Westhow House at Crystal Palace, London, Thursday 2nd October 2014. Pours pale gold with a sticky white head. A little sweet lemony sherbert on nose. Soft in mouth, bittersweet but edging more to sweet, moderately hoppy burps. Nice enough. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
