Pale, amber coloured ale. Clean, crisp and bitter, using Goldings and Fuggles. This is one of those "one-off" brews that proved so popular we’re keeping it as a regular.

Cask. Pours very clear, light amber. Aromas of hops and fruits, especially lemons. Taste is smooth, a medium mouthfeel, hop resins and a bitter finish. Ok.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light malt, light hop. The flavour is medium to light bitter with a smooth malt hop bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A superb session bitter and one of the best I’ve had. Brings back memories of Eddie’s days at the Fiddler. Come back please Eddie, all is forgiven :-) Seriously, we would love to see your cask beers back there as guests.

Cask at the Lovebox Festival. I’ll be honest: I didn’t take great notes on this one. In fact, I didn’t really take any notes. But I’ll tell you what, this was a fine beer. A mighty fine beer, in some ways, at least. Had some dry, lightly toasted malts and hints of dried leaves. The body was light and the carbonation was fine. It wasn’t very sweet and had, perhaps, some light berry notes to complement the dry, toasty malts. I enjoyed it overall.

Cask @ Akkurat. Very traditional english cask bitter... and therefore i love it! Low carbonation, quite bland, but very refreshing and drinkable.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of toast, orange and slightly earthy hops. Fruity, slightly malty taste with toast, orange, dried apricots and a slightly metallic finish with an earthy bitterness. Rather light body, quite dry. Highly drinkable and quite nice.
