Pale, amber coloured ale. Clean, crisp and bitter, using Goldings and Fuggles. This is one of those "one-off" brews that proved so popular we’re keeping it as a regular.

On tap at the White Horse. Hazy amber beer, suddy white head. Light dry palate, low carbonation. Nice hops that induce a brief involuntary flutter of the eyelids! Lemon citrus with tangerine and grapefruit. A pretty fruity tasty bitter - every gobfull holds interest! Dry finish.

Cask@Southampton Arms, London. Slightly hazy goldeny amber colur with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, wood, some mild nectar and also mild rye like notes. Flavour is being quite much the same in a quite nice balance. Good session bitter.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stocholm. Hazy amber. Appley and caramelly. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and lightly spciy with salty, mildly bitter finish. A pedestrian bitter.

Half, hand pulled cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen Pimlico. Shiny surface to a next to clear, golden body. Citric-floral to the nose. Lemony hops in flavour. Plain bittersweet finish (London, 22.03.2011).

On cask at CP&K. It pours hazy amber with low carbonation and a thin beige head. The nose is hay, grass, biscuit and citrus fruits. The taste is sweet orange, peach, apricot, lemon, hay and some caramel. It is a surprisingly sweet-tasting bitter that hits above average.

Cask at NWAF 2009. A pale golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as light notes of sulphur. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw.

Cask @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty aroma with some hoppy hints. Fruity malty slightly caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Aroma is light to moderate malty, immature green apple, mazipan. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20090122] 5-2-5-2-10 Cask (handpump) @ Brasserie 4:20, Via Portuense 82, Roma, Italy.Clear medium orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light caramel, malt, old sour malt notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, apple notes. Cask at the Three Mariners, Hythe, Kent. Copper with a ring of white head; dry bitter hop aroma with a hint of honey; prickly, sweet and fruity at first, then becoming dry and very moreish.

Cask, Jan Primus, Utrecht. Clear golden color, short white head. Aroma is hoppy, bit sweet, bit fruity. Bitter and sweet taste. Decent bitter.
