Scaled is the first IPA brewed and packaged at our Canton, MA facility. In the Spring of 2018, we implemented recent learnings from our Permutation program to breathe new life into this milestone beer. The newly developed fermentation profile and grist coupled with foundational elements from a larger hop charge of legacy hop varieties take this IPA to the next level! El Dorado, Citra, and Columbus hops create an aromatic blast of juicy mango, pineapple, and lemon candies. Pineapple, sweet orange and pink grapefruit flesh follow on a medium bodied palate that finishes with a soft, mild to moderate bitterness.

750ml bottle pours a hazy gold with some cloudy, white head. Nose has lemon, white grape, light soap, light grass, some gum. Flavor is slick with honey, lemon, vinous, pine, soap, light tropical fruit. Finishes creamy.

Bottle at the main DC December Gathering. Poured a hazy golden color with an off-white head. Aroma was tropical fruits, citrus. Floral notes, sweet dry notes. Very nice.

From a bottle at the Ratebeer Dec 22 gathering 2015. Pours a clear a clear gold with an off white head. Aroma of clementines. Flavors of citrus. Crisp clean finish.

Bottle courtesy of solidfunk, thanks! Hazy yellow color, big white head. Nice aroma of lemon and summer fruit. Taste is earthy hay, peppery straw, bitter fruit. Very tasty.

Wonderful stuff. Big pine and wonderful citrus, with great note of potpourri. Pours golden with great head. Tangy finish. Some peel and pineapple. Bottle from brewery. Sharp.

32oz growler filled 11/25/15 and shared 11/28/15.
Great appearance still, nice to see that hasn’t changed over at the new brewery (though that’s more a product of the wheat and dextrine and less brew-system specific, obviously). Big white head is well-retained atop a hazy, bright golden-bronze body.
Big fruity aroma is packed with juicy citrus and zesty tropical fruits. Heavy pineapple mixes with lemon-lime, while light base malt influences add light honey-vanilla. Lots of fruitiness and a fair amount of lingering pine on the end.
Very hoppy and bitter, more so than fort point or congress street, I think. Same malty body with tight carbonation and a hugely supple/comforting texture. Oranges, lemons, sweet lime and pineapple/mango notes all build up quickly on the palate. There’s a rather raw pine resin character that I’m not so thrilled with and just too much tanginess from the hops. Drinkable, but it’s no masterpiece, that’s for sure. Not sure if this is just me not liking El Dorado hops (I don’t) or if this is inexperience with their new brew system. 7/4/7/3/13
Rerate, new batch 32oz growler drunk 3/5/16. As expected this is just a completely different beer. Incredibly hazy, with a huge fruity nose and none of the heavy maltiness and grainy character. As well, there’s no resin and just a ton of citrus and tropical fruit juiciness. In the flavor it’s soft, silky and juicy, with tight, spritzy carbonation and just perfectly balanced on the acidity (very light). Incredibly drinkable and the winner among this, Publick House IPA and Speed Dial. Rating is for this version.

32 oz. growler thanks at Clark VV. Hazy bright yellow/ gold color. Aroma is bold citrus,light grass element, onion hint.
This has a nice citrus base with a moderate malt base. A fair amount of dank pine and grassy / scallion hints. The citrus and pine play well off each other. The bitterness is long and strong. This hop profile will wake up your palate. I had a good 9 ounces of this and could continue drinking it. Nice.

Thanks Clark for the growler. Very cloudy tangerine orange. Just insane clementine juiciness on the aroma. Piney taste, intense bitterness...good wheat presence. the aroma is off the chain but this is really fantastic. good mouthfeel.

Poured from growler thanks ClarkVV hazy golden with a nice white head. Aromas of dank citrus hops and cut grass. Taste is nice juicy and a solid offering.
