Metacognition is our ‘base’ Farmhouse Ale. Its arrival marks the commencement of mindful learning, exploration, and attunement in the art of Saison at Tree House Brewing Company. Brewed with Pilsner and Wheat malts and free rise fermented with a blend of classic Belgian Yeast, it pours with a thick, voluminous head and emanates spicy phenolic aromas along with subtle impressions of pineapple and citrus. The flavor follows suit with further notes of spice, peeled lemon, and light tangerine. It’s superbly attenuated, leaving the finish dry and refreshing, begging to be enjoyed on a hot summer day.
