Blend of barrel aged barelywine and sour brown.
The Cellar Cuvee project is inspired by the art of blending. Multiple beers are married together after aging in oak barrels. Cellar Cuvee 8 is a blend of 20 month aged sour brown barrel and a second use bourbon barrel aged barleywine style ale. Sour brown ale brimming with tart cherry notes, deep rasin sweetness, and waves of luscious oak.

Bottle at wtf 2, pours a clear yellow orange with small off white head. The aroma is sour fruit, funk. oak. Medium mouth, candy sugar, tart fruit, light booze, good.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a hazy mahogany-brown color with a medium khaki head that diminishes steadily to a wispy film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruits, oak and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of raisins, oak, roasted malt and yeast. The finish is fruity with an oaky vanilla and malt aftertaste. Good brew all around.
