Olmost black with small dark off white head - Dark malt aroma with some fruity tones with vanilla and wood - Dark malt body with a good daark fruity flavour in the back that olso has a good wood flavour and alcohol heat - The dark malt with a dark fruity flavour with wood and vanilla goes into the finish with some heat from alcohol - This was real good

Bottle, 22oz, kindly shared by bergstaden. 2018 vintage, 13% ABV. An oily, quite flat pour leaves a minimalistic beige head, just a rim of bubbles actually, over a slightly hazy brown body. Quite boozy, woody aroma with lots of brown sugar and dark dried fruits. Vanilla, roasted malts and a touch of coffee too. It's full-bodied, warming and smooth, with a very soft carbonation. Warm figs, prunes, brown sugar, wood, roasted malts, cocoa hints and a good dash of bourbon in the flavor. Lasting sweet finish with pretty evident booze and alcohol warmth. A very tasteful and complex beer, but a tad or two too boozy. 190927

Draught @ Rip Current Brewery-North Park. Listed at 13% ABV. Pours dark amber with an offwhite head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, wood, light fruit, vanilla, oak, bourbon. Flavor is light sweet, malty, caramel, nuts, wood, vanilla, bourbon, alcohol. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. Smooth and hides the high alcohol content fairly well. 250718
