On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy gold with medium creamy white head that lasts. The aroma is wheat, pepper, citrus. Medium mouth, clove, pepper, light dry finish.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a glossy rounded out looking orange color with a slim finger’s white foamy head that dissipated within less than about forty seconds.
The smell had a semi-crisp sweet orange; semi-sweet to sharp lemon melding into each other nicely and carrying over a fairly decent super light spice underneath.
The taste takes the sweet orange and lemon to balance and bring in a crisp fresh sweet citrus to light spice aftertaste. There’s no finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation seems a bit under but that doesn’t bother me as it plays off \"the session\" part Manayunk says is on the can.
Overall, as a Belgian pale ale it works. As a session, I think Manayunk pulled it off. Definitely would love to have again on a hot Summer’s day, maybe alongside while fishing too.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a hazy golden color with a small soapy off white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet, malty, bready, a bit of vague fruit and must. The flavor was dryish and bitter with cardboard, citric acid, must and pepper. Medium length finish. Light body. Not good.
