From a 12 oz bottle shared in Avon . Pours a clear deep amber with an off white head. Sour cherry aroma. Some caramel and yeast elements. Bitter finish.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy burnt orange with a small white head. Aroma of treacle toffee, caramel malts, some toasted nuts, and dark fruits. Flavour of toasted nuts, caramel malts, treacle toffee, Belgian yeast and candied sugar. Complex, and like a traditional quad. Excellent stuff.

22oz bottle all to myself. Poured a relatively cloudy medium brown color, with a large off-white head. Aroma was malty, plum notes, dark fruits, caramel. Flavor was sweet malts, plum and other dark fruits. Alcohol was extremely hidden. Wow. Enjoyable.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 1/7/12
Aroma: The nose is fairly malty, with some sweet caramel, dark fruit, roast, spice, and a little alcohol
Appearance: It pours a reddish-brown color with a small beige head and pretty much no lace
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, with a lot of malt flavors, balanced by some fruit and spice
Palate: The body is medium-full, it has a slightly sticky feel and a little bit of alcohol heat to it
Overall Impression: I thought this was a very solid Quad, with a pretty interesting complexity to it. The components all work rather well. I enjoyed this one.

Bottle @ home with Jetson, courtesy of Satchboogie. Thanks! Brownish red appearance with a tan head that dissipates quickly. Dark candy sugar, rich caramel, mild toffee, brown sugar, light fruity aroma. Really a big raisin, plum, brown sugar, very rich caramel, candy sugar flavor with moderate to high carbonation. Slightly above average Quad.

Bomber pours mahogany with copper hues and thin tan head. The aroma offers up rich grape juice and plum juice mixing with mild levels of spicy yeast, molasses and booze. The taste is similar with big sticky sweet grape juice running into prunes, raisins and some ripe cherries. To midway a mix of malts and molasses help take this into the finish. Nice fruity Quad.

22 oz bottle. Hazy brown in a snifter. Next to no head or lace. Nose is sweet candy sugar and rich dark fruit. I should have looked at the ABV before I opened. It’s a young bottle and I should have let it sit awhile. (my fault )Booze comes off strong. Once it warms, yeast, raisins and lots of sugar. I can sense the flavors are well done here. It comes off real hot almost too much to enjoy. The palate is thick and chewy. Full bodied. The flavors mingle well. I would most certainty would tell anyone who tries this to age it. That being said, it’s nice.

Pours a clear deep red with a bubbly creamy off white head that sticks around for a while. Smells of dark fruits, molasses, very sweet and malty. A bit of yeast character pokes its head out as this one warms. Taste is sweet and fruity with an alcohol bite with some phenols mixed in there. A bit of spicy Belgian yeast with a dry finish that leaves sweet and phenols on the palette. Body is thick, mouthfeel is creamy/syrupy, carbonation is medium to high. Decent quad but a bit high on the alcohol and phenols for me, maybe a bit of age would help this one. See you again in a year Gravitation.
