Reviewed from notes. Here goes.
On tap at CBS Scene (Patriot Place), about this time last year.
I had it in a pint glass.
The appearance is a clear light golden body with a one finger off-white head with light slowly moving streams of carbonation seen rising.
The smell has a nice floral hoppiness along with a bit of grassiness, citrus and pine that combines very nicely.
The taste took those flavors and added a bit of back punch of malt as the beer warmed.
On the palate, its about a light sort of body and slightly spritzy with an acceptable amount of harshness on the tongue due to the style, it had a dry and bitter finish.
Overall, for the most part, this is good for me and good for the style.

On tap @ Blind Tiger House. A clear golden one with a nice medium sized lacing just off-white top. Lots of dough and grassy hops in the nose here. And yeah, it's floral alright. Frozen strawberries and a little sweetness. Nice enough. Quite lightdrinkable. Nice sweetness with a well balanced bitterness. It has a nice oily mouthfeel with a just above average carbonation level. Citrus and a good amount of grapefruit. Not to bitter, just fresh and really good. Could drink a lot of this. 18.06.2013

0.355l bottle as a surprise extra from Dan. Thanks man! It pours a lovely peachy orange looking cloudy body with a small quickly sidesticking off-white head. So much going on on the nose here. Loaded with grapefruit, citrus, frozen strawberries and hops! Really intense, fruity and delicious. Strong piney hops in the taste. It had a good oily mouthfeel with a average prickling carbonation level. Really hoppy and grassy grapefruit infused. Light citrus zesty as well with floral tones all t way through. A delicious beverage. 01.08.2013

On tap @ Brass Monkey, NY. Clear deep golden color with thin creamy white head, very good lacing and average sparkling appearance. Potent aroma of floral and herbal hops, citrus and some bready malt. Taste starts light sweet malty, follows by fresh fruity acidity, substantial bitter finish and long hoppy aftertaste. Full body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Very interesting brew, aroma is certainly it’s best feature...

Bottle at home during the mass online tasting of 03/12/13, traded thanks to Dadmond of NYC Daddy fame. Lightly obscured orange amber with a big ole off white head - this as per my previous beer looks like the bollocks ! Nose is caramel malts, pine resin, peach, bitter orange, red grapefruit, tropical fruit laced straw bales. Taste comprises juicy hops, big caramel malt backbone, pine resin, sticky grapefruit, light pineapple, citric pithorama, light florists window. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying finale with pithy grass lead bitterludes. Damn tasty IPA !

Bottle purchased from Half Time Beverages in NY.

Best by December is notched.

It pours a golden colour, 2 finger head of foam, with good lacing. And the foam remains...deep into the session.

It has a mostly bitter smell to it, grapefruit mostly and sincerely, slight note of pine, no malt that I can detect.

The taste has the grapefruit, light on some pine, some caramel malt sweetness in the background that gives it *some* balance. A little bit of bread when I swish the beer in my mouth. An *excellent* East coast IPA that does as well in the bottle as it did from the Growler sample I got in a past trade. Super drinkable beer and I'd recommend to grab some if you see some! --- Beer merged from original tick of Flower Power on 25 Oct 2013 at 16:02 - Score: 9.
