18.06.2013, tap @ Blind Tiger Ale House NY:
Small shortlasting head. Aroma is fruity, lots of hops, leafs, newly cut lawn, caramel malts, some pine needles. Taste is fresh grassy, hops, newly cut lawn, leafs, pine needles, caramel malts. Longlasting bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice one, but still not my kind of beer.

12oz bottle from udbeernut. Thanks! Pours a slightly cloudy dark gold with an orange hue. Aroma is floral and orange citrus. Taste is light bitter. Floral and light citrus. Medium bodied with a slightly slick texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, absolutely awesome. This one really kicks ass

12oz bottle pours with a clear gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet malts and resiny pine hops as well as faint floral hop notes around the edges. The taste has a pleasing mix of sweet malts and bitter resiny pine hops that run headlong into firm floral hoppiness. This is nice drinking stuff where there’s a tasty balance of bitter and resiny hops as well as malt sweetened flavor hops.

Aroma is very floral with some fruitiness as well. Only faint cracker malt notes - no caramel in aroma. I like the fruit and floral forward hop aroma more than some of the juicy fruit aromas of late. Pours a slightly cloudy pale gold with a thin white head that quickly recedes. Minimal lacing and small legs. Flavor is nice cracker malt notes with minimal caramel that adds a touch of complexity. Some sweet floral hop flavors mid palate with a bit of a dank, grassy hop flavor in the finish. Bitterness is moderately strong but fairly clean. Finishes moderately dry. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Astringency is low as is alcohol warmth. Overall a nice IPA with an enjoyable hop aroma. I find the hop flavor a bit lacking but this is a very drinkable IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before May 2013. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, pineapple, orange rind, floral, pine, tangerine, grass, light caramel, light honey, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance, strength, and complexity of hop and malt notes. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, orange zest, pine, orange rind, floral, grass, light honey, light caramel, bread, and floral earthiness. Good amount of floral pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pine, floral, grass, light honey, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice balance and complexity of hop flavors; with a solid malt balance and zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPA. Very nice complexity and balance of hop and malt flavor; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering as expected.

Bottle thanks to Dean! Pours a hazy clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of earthy hops with notes of grass and light flora with a touch of musty grains. Flavor is similar earthy grassy hops up front with a finish is more floral and musty grains.

16 oz tulip draft pour at the Top Hops Beer Shop in New York City. The pour is a lightly hazed golden with a smallish off white head. The aroma is just stupid fresh, flying out of the glass are aromas of resin, dank, floral, citrus even. There is a nice base of toasted malt present as well, though the nose is primarily about the hops. The taste mirrors the nose, great fresh expressions of hops, resin, floral, dank, nice bright orange citrus, all balanced superbly with the toasted malt backbone. The palate is medium to light bodied, bright carbonation and a mineral resin dry finish. I love this beer, on a previous visit to New York, I had this beer though was past the point of taking notes (beastiefan2k had gotten me well bombed). Glad I had another shot at this beer.

At a tasting, thanks David, smaalish head, quite clear light orange but just a touch hazy, flowery aroma with mandarine, peach and apricot, strong grapefruit flavour with herbs and a touch of malt in the back. Excellent fresh IPA, could drink pints and pints of this.

Pretty decent. Smells like citrus hops. Pours cloudy blond with some initial head and no lacing. Medium carbonation. Actually a pretty nice overall feel to this. Nice medium bitterness on aftertaste. Some nice hops. On tap at coles.

Bottle fresh from down south. HFS tulip fridge temp, slight cloudy orange gold. no head. Nose is very piney, some tangerine and hop resins. Taste is very nice! Loads of muted citrus up front, grassy and great malt to hop bitterness balance. Finish is sweet and grassy with tangerines.
