Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of lots of citric and floral hops and light tropical fruits notes. Pleasant hoppy floral flavor with grapefruit and a lingering moderately bitter finish. Medium-bodied. A nice IPA.

Sample from a friend. Poured a pale, hazy orange with a nice white head. Aroma dominated by hop aromas, strong tropical fruits (passion fruit, guava, mango stand out), a bit of pine as well. Flavour again heavy on fruitiness with citrus, passion fruit, mango, resiny pine and some sweet, light caramel from the malt. Finish fairly bitter but balanced hops. Smells and tastes delicious and summery, a quenching and enjoyable beer.

On tap. Pours with a hazed golden body with a small tan head. Aromas are flowery/floral hoppy, herbal, pine, mild citrus. Some bready and slightly earthy malty aromas. Flavors are citrusy, pine, floral, tangerine with a nice bready malt background. Not too sweet, which is nice for the Right Coast. Medium bubbles. Good.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours light amber with a foamy near-white head. Aromas of floral, fruit and veg/herb. Med + body. Flavor is intensely hoppy with a lot of floral, some fruit and something suggesting noble hop. It finishes quite bitter. It’s very good.

Bottle: Poured a hazy beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral hops cones with light bittering notes and some light citrus as well. Taste is a very pleasant mix between some floral notes with whole hops cones notes with solid semi-sweet malt base. Bitter notes are not too heavy. Body is full with good carbonation. Really well brewed with nice notes of floral hops with well balanced bitter notes and semi-sweet malt bill.

On tap, Mugs Alwhouse, 27th July 2011. Cloudy amber with white ring-and-film head and partial lacing. Yeasty aroma with some grapefruit hop zest. Richly hoppy liquid body with grapefruit and spicy touch. Rich grapefruit builds then lingers in the finish. Light carbonation, fine texture and easy drinking.

Nice golden color; small head. The aroma is a bit fruity, hoppy, soapy. Good caramel and dry toffee flavor, medium bodied, then some residual sweetness; strong bitterness. It was probably a pleasant one, but now it’s too old.
