Taster at the brewpub. Pours brown, nearly black, with a small, tan head. The nose is cherry, brown bread, toffee, and maple syrup. Sweet, without much bitterness. Light to medium body, with a sticky palate. Fun, malty, and easy.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark amber with small off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is cocoa and raisin. Medium body, roast, cocoa, bread, light dry finish, good.
