Piety ale is cherry pie mixed to a bounce beat. Lactobacillus and Brettanomyces make Piety sour and funky, while the red wine barrel aging and tart cherries show off its sweet and sassy side.
DJ Rusty Lazer is known for making booties pop with his bounce beats. His Piety Street studio has become an epicenter of art and culture in New Orleans. Once you pop, the funk don't stop!

Bottle from NOLA. Pours mostly clear, pinkish pale golden. Small fizzy white head, dissipates quickly leaving a soda-like fizziness behind. Aroma is Bretty, barnyard and hayfield, some tart cherry, lemon and oak aromas as well. Flavor is quite tart, aggressively tart, kind of a mineral water thing as well, dry, not much bitterness, light plus funk. Light body, high carbonation, fizzy and soda-like. Tending more to the vinegar side of the house.
