Tap. Pours deep black with a small tan head and good lacing. Aroma is burned malts, a bit smoky, brown sugar. Flavor is the same, medium sweet malty, lightly bitter, notes of coffee. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Definitely drinkable.

Quickly disappearing head. Tastes more like a Baltic porter than a Schwarzbier - heavy taste, with strong roasty notes plus some ash. Not much bitterness. 50 cl can.

Dark brown with a thin head. Malt-forward aroma is clean molasses and caramel. Rich caramel, more like a Baltic porter than anything else, but not quite that either. Finishes sweet with earthy liquorice notes. The only serious go-to beer in Romania.

Can. A dark red-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of caramel, bread, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread, metallic hops, alcohol, and caramel, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

clear brown, smooth light brown head. mild malty aroma, dry. flavor is pretty messy mix of bitter malts, bitter caramel, plastic and a slightly tart sour note. also tried a bottle and that one was a lot clearer in the flavor. no plastic, no tart sour note, but perhaps a roastiness that could be interpreted as almost sourish/tartish. flavor 4->6, overall 8->13

Can 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear orangey brown with a dense and creamy beige head. Odd farty aroma initially, then some sweet roast. Medium body, subtle roast, and some licorice, roasty finish. Quite decent. 230512
