dark brown colour, medium sized, very dense, creamy beige head; aroma of coffee, herbal liqueur, dried plum and raisins, some burnt woody notes and hints of caramel; taste is the same with less intensiveness; not a miracle, but good to drink

500ml can from Albinuța UK, imported from Romania. Black colour with a decent sized smooth brown head, slowly dissipating to a small one. Aroma of sweet, lightly roasted malts. Taste is prominently malts, almost overwhelming, and quite sweet, some fruitiness - In fact, if a malt loaf could be turned into beer, it would be like this. Light bitter aftertaste. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. It’s a nice beer, but maybe a little too sweet and bready.

Can, 0.50l, courtesy of Vlad, shared with colleagues. Pours pitch black with large soapy tan-like head and nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, caramel and bread with mild smokey note. Taste starts with light sweet roasted malt, coffee and mild chocolate, following is bready sour with dry mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Surprise, surprise, didn’t expect it so good...

Black in colour. Aroma has some burnt toast and coca. Flavour is quite bitter with oodles of dark, roasted malts. Lighter aspects of caramel, coffee, tobacco come through too. A fairly smooth, easy drinking feel.

500ml can via Moldova (thanks Dorin). Pours dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, smoke, coffee. Taste is coffee, roastiness. Very smooth. I agree with other raters - it’s like a lite version of a Baltic porter.

Draught at Beraria Ursus, Cluj. Pours a deep black, not much head. A pleasantly sweet and caramel aroma, some roasted notes. The taste was sweet (a little flat body) with very nice caramel addition. Not roasty, which I liked. Definitely very nice and extra drinkable.

Thanks to ciocanelu for this 0,5l can, 13.01.2015, 19:38/6
Dark in the glass with a beige head. Nose is sweet-malty. The beer starts very dry. No sweetness and a high drinkability. Even hints of roast in the mainpart. Not too deep in body, but there are hints of coffee or dark bread. The aftertaste is quite long, only slightly hopped, no sweetness, highly drinkable, nice roasted aroma.
Much better than expected. Quite a nice and light Schwarzbier. --> 10/12/10/10
